Our MissionTo support and implement the mission of the National League for Nursing to promote excellence in nursing education to build a strong and diverse nursing workforce, at the constituent level.
Our HistoryThe Wisconsin League for Nursing, Inc. (WLN) was incorporated in 1952 to foster development and improvement of organized nursing services through the coordinate action of nurses, allied health professionals and citizens to meet the health care needs of the community. WLN is a constituent league of National League for Nursing.
Our FutureThe WLN has accepted the challenge to make a difference. Decisions affecting nursing practice are being made at the state level which will have an impact on the future of nursing and health care delivery. We influence these decisions through our active participation in the Wisconsin Nursing Coalition and cooperative relationships with other state nursing organizations. The Wisconsin League for Nursing proudly promotes the profession of nursing through: * Career enhancing educational programs * Scholarships awarded to nursing students, graduate students and a graduating high school senior
